What Kind of First Date Are You?

Your ideal first-date plan:

• A good restaurant and time to actually talk.
• Something with movement — bikes, hiking, exploring.
• Coffee somewhere quiet that turns into three hours.
• The weird thing I saw on a flyer last week.

Small talk on a first date is:

• Necessary — and it can actually be nice.
• The warm-up before the real adventure.
• Skippable — let's get to the real stuff.
• What I avoid by doing something instead.

The best sign a first date is going well:

• The conversation flows like we've met before.
• We're laughing and slightly out of breath.
• It stops feeling like a date at all.
• One of us says 'I've never done this before'.
