What Kind of Friend Are You?

A friend texts 'you free tonight?' at 11 pm. You:

• Throw on a jacket — they wouldn't ask if it wasn't important.
• Already dressed. Where are we going?
• Call back: 'Talk to me first. What's going on?'
• Ask who's coming and where, then book the table.

In the group chat, you're the one who:

• Shows up to every plan, even the bad ones.
• Drops the meme that derails the whole thread.
• Takes it private when things get real.
• Actually sets the date, the time and the place.

A friend shares big news. Your first move:

• Be the first to defend it if anyone doubts them.
• Pop something fizzy, obviously.
• Ask the question nobody else thought to ask.
• Start planning the celebration dinner.
